Periodicals
Young Children is the award-winning, peer-reviewed professional journal published bimonthly by NAEYC. Young Children issues are organized around topical clusters that devote special attention to issues in the field of early childhood education Teaching Young Children, NAEYC’s award-winning bimonthly magazine, provides useful, research-based ideas that preschool educators can use in their classrooms.   • NEXT for TYC is an online publication that comes out five times per year to accompany the current issue of Teaching Young Children (TYC). NEXT for TYC suggests ways to build on the content of articles while encouraging teachers to apply ideas in their own classrooms. Center directors can use it to plan staff meetings, staff development specialists can use it to design workshops, and teacher educators can use the ideas in their classes.
  • Teaching Young Children magazine, 10-pack, that includes a subscription to the accompanying online professional development resource, NEXT for TYC.
  • eLearn: TYC, NAEYC’s self-paced online professional development tool, combines a digital version of TYC with an assessment and NEXT for TYC to strengthen and enhance teaching effectiveness.
