Assessment and Report Resources
It may be helpful, as you select or design assessments for your Program Report, to see an example of a powerful assessment that is aligned with three of the five NAEYC standards, and examples of rubrics and data tables that would show evidence of candidate performance on those three standards.
Successful Program Reports
Each program is infinitely unique and should not try to follow directly the mold of another program in their report. However, NAEYC recognizes that it can be helpful to see real-life examples. As a courtesy, and with great appreciation extended to each program that granted permission, access is provided below to several actual program reports.
Please note: These reports are not intended to represent the gold standard of program reports. They are, however, reports that led to a decision of Nationally Recognized. NAEYC expresses appreciation to each of the programs for permission to post their program report.
It may also be useful to see a program report annotated with remarks to prompt reflection on how some of the samples could be improved, as well as reasons for certain features of the samples. This fictional report was created in 2004 and does not adhere to the current PRS format, although the content will still be useful.
