Helping the Gulf Coast Recover
Last Updated: September 15, 2005
In response to the devastating impact that Hurricane Katrina and the related flooding have had on the Gulf Coast area, many NAEYC members have asked for information about how they can help. NAEYC leaders have been working on ways that the Association - and individual NAEYC members - can support immediate relief efforts and longer-term recovery projects.
This new Web page is designed to provide the latest information about relief and recovery efforts, especially those focused on young children and their families, and details on ways that you can get involved. We will update this site regularly, and hope you will use it as a resource, and refer others to it as well.
Thank you for your efforts to support the children, families and communities of the Gulf Coast region, and the people and programs around the country providing care for those in need.
Sincerely,
