About Ying

A member of NAEYC since 2013, Ying Liang is a preschool lead teacher at the International School of the Peninsula in Palo Alto, California. Ying was nominated to appear on the cover of NAEYC’s magazine, Teaching Young Children, and she presented “A Journey of Journals: Promoting Child-Centered Second Language Acquisition in Preschool,” based on her teacher research, at NAEYC’s 2014 Annual Conference in Dallas. She believes that exploring different cultures allows her to become a more open-minded person.
