States' Quality Rating and Improvement Systems (QRIS)
You are here
The ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of states' quality rating and improvement systems (QRIS) is part of a national conversation about how we define and measure quality for early childhood education programs to ensure we are addressing the essential building blocks of a well-financed, high-quality early childhood education system.
The NAEYC QRIS Initiative began in 2005 to promote increased knowledge about and engagement in QRIS development and implementation. As part of NAEYC's QRIS Initiative, we have compiled resources from NAEYC, states, and our partner organizations. Stay tuned for updated resources and materials as NAEYC rolls out our new streamlined accreditation system.
