Biography
In April of this year, Xiara graduated from the University of Cincinnati where she obtained a B.S. in Human Development and Community Engagement. She is currently enrolled at the American College of Education to pursue a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education. Throughout her academic journey, she has built a strong and diverse knowledge base of research methods in practice, family and community capacity-building, non-profit organization, and children's development. Specifically, she has focused her academic interests on community participatory advocacy approaches as a way to elevate particular demographic voices in public policy.
