提问,而不是告知
支持你的孩子采取独立的举动。提问:“把你的杯子放在哪里是安全的?”而不是说:“把你的杯子放在柜子上。” 提示:“我看到玩具车在楼梯前面。应该把它们移到哪儿去?”,而不是坚称:“有人踩到这些玩具车会摔倒。请把它们拿开。”
让你的孩子负起责任
通过提问激励孩子去解决问题。“我们要想个好办法,让每个人都坐到桌旁进餐。你觉得我们应该怎么办?”以及“我们要找个更好的地方来放靴子[自行车、袜子、手套、玩具],以便能很容易就找到它们。你觉得它们应该放在哪儿?”
庆祝成功
当你注意到你的孩子在负起责任时,表达你的赞赏。“太好了!外套今天全都晾好了”,“餐桌布置得真不错!晚餐令人感觉非常优雅”,“谢谢你把快餐包装放进垃圾桶里。我很喜欢在洁净的台面上操作。”
